In Spanish, regular verbs are those that can be conjugated independently without modifying the stem (lexeme), and have endings that adapt to each tense. There are three types of regular verbs: verbs ending in "ar", "er" and "ir". In this lesson, we will touch on the [ir] regular verbs. To conjugate regular [ir] verbs: first drop the -ir and then add one of six present tense endings specific to -ir verbs: -o, -es, -e, -e, -imos, or -en. For present tense, thrid person plural [They] use "en".
